I probably tried it for a week and then I was totally over-trained, and was getting nowhere. It was like if you don't squat then you are not even a real man. I will out-train everybody: that was my attitude. It is amazing to see how much he has been able to deviate from traditional bodybuilding to stay in shape. And occasionally you can do extra negative reps where it's practical. So you haven't been in a contest but you are telling this guy how to get ready for a contest? So it was an average rest of four or five days for each body part.
